'Shutter Dreams' Photography

I'm James,  family photographer and dad of an adventurous 8 year old.

I am fully insured, tax registered and have an up to date PVG.

I believe in capturing natural images and putting my subjects at ease.   Most of us feel nervous when thrust into the spotlight and rarely do we know how to pose.  I create a friendly, relaxed atmosophere and bring out the best.  We work together to capture memories rich with feeling.

I have my own home photography studio and love creating different moods depending on what my clients want to achieve.  I'm equally happy to travel and love to explore the beaches, forests and  lochs of Scotland.

I work with two collaborators.  Suzy Gunn is  the creative content videographer.  She deliver both wedding films and creative shortform content - both are highly popular and help you relive your day.  Andrea Fox is my second shooter for those big weddings where it's hard to be in two places at once.  Therefore, we can scale our packages up or down to meet our clients' needs.
